Design Consultation

A design consultation is a great place to start if you are thinking of a project for your home. This meeting is meant to provide you with professional guidance for a home project and/or to address specific challenges or concerns. It can be a stand-alone service, or it can be the beginning of a larger design project together. 

A client questionnaire will be emailed prior to the scheduled consultation in order to understand the general goals for the meeting. You can also include a few pictures of your existing space and any inspirational images you may have to help make our meeting more productive. Clients can expect to discuss the existing challenges of the space as well as overall vision and potential for the new space. We’ll discuss your personal style, along with paint and color schemes, furniture arrangements, art, accessories and overall décor. Additional meetings can be scheduled after the design consultation based on the scope and depth of the project.

A brief 20-30 minute discovery call is always the first step in our process.

Design Service

My design service is a personalized interior design experience and unique to every client. My role as your designer is to guide you through your project from start to finish, with an end goal of  bringing  your vision and home dreams to life. Your home should be a reflection of your lifestyle and personality, allowing you to seamlessly move through your everyday activities. Whether kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or living room, all projects will begin with the Design Consultation to better understand the room(s) we are addressing. After the initial consultation, I will tailor a letter of agreement outlining the scope of work I’ll be providing. All remodeling or space plan projects (unless otherwise discussed) will receive a floor plan of the new proposed layout(s) along with 3D renderings views to help the client visualize their new space. Once layouts and the overall concepts are finalized, we will begin to source products within your budget, working with local vendors, showrooms and online trade resources. This collaborative process is personalized to your needs to deliver the home you’ve always dreamed of. 

Additional Services

Not every project requires a full service package, therefore I offer stand alone services to help with your design needs. 

Color Consultations: Color consultations are a great way to put your mind at ease when trying to select new paint colors for your home. Colors can have different effects on our mood and influence the overall vibe of the space. It’s important that the feeling you want to achieve is reflected by the color choices you make. Testing potential colors in your home in different lighting, throughout various times of day before making a larger purchase, will result in the best outcome for your space. 

Space Planning: Space planning is a fundamental element to the design process, but it can also be a stand alone service to address any type of area in your home. A space plan defines the functions of the room and the zones within it. It addresses traffic patterns within the room and how the traffic flows from one room to the next. It will provide a layout for existing and suggested furniture to promote a fully functional and cohesive space. 

E-Designs: E-design services are offered completely online and are a more affordable option to traditional design services. This is great for someone who isn’t afraid of a little DIY, and allows the homeowner to proceed at their own pace, on their own time. After answering a client questionnaire, you’ll receive a Mood board with a full description of the proposed design and links to suggested products. Measurements of your room may also be submitted to receive a floor plan and 3D rendered views for an additional charge. 

3D Renderings: 3D renderings are a great way to bring your project to life before any big purchases or decisions are made. Not only does it allow you to see what your project could look like, but it can also show you specific finishes, furnishings and décor ahead of time. Do you want wood floors in your new kitchen, or a decorative tile? Do you want a bold paint color or a geometric wallpaper in your master bedroom? How will the bathroom look with emerald green cabinets and a white quartz countertop? This software is used throughout the Complete Design Service, but is also offered as a stand-alone service, and available upon request. 

Drafting Services: Drafting Services are geared towards contractors, designers, or homeowners in need of 2D, 3D, plan view or elevation drawings for their own intent, and available upon request.
